What does a DJ in Lloret de Mar charge?
I do not work with a general rate. The figure depends on how many hours the set lasts, how many guests there are, what equipment is needed and the travel involved. Sets run 2 to 8 hours; an afternoon at a beach club with its own sound costs less than a night at a Roca Grossa villa where sound and lighting have to be brought in. Send the date, the area and the number of guests and I will give you a fixed price.
What does the price cover?
It includes preparing the music with you, setting up, the soundcheck, the full set, coordinating with the other suppliers and packing down. If sound or lighting is needed, partner suppliers provide it and it appears as a separate item, with what it covers spelled out.
What style of music do you play?
I play house in its different shades: deep, melodic, Afro, Latin and classic, with some disco, soul or techno depending on the hour. If you want a whole night of commercial hits, another DJ will suit you better, and I would rather tell you that up front.
Do you play at villas in estates with controlled access?
Yes. Some estates in the area have controlled access and community rules on noise and hours. Where they ask for it, I register as a supplier before the event, talk to whoever manages the villa and agree a volume and finishing time within those rules.
Do you bring your own sound system?
I always bring my own mixer, headphones and cables. Where there is no sound, which is common at villas, a partner supplier provides a system sized to the space, quoted separately. In hotels and beach clubs the house system is usually enough.
Do you play on yachts in Port de Canyelles?
Yes. A partner supplier provides the sound, matched to the boat's power and quoted separately, and it goes wherever the skipper says. Moored in the marina the volume has to stay low, so the livelier part usually comes once the boat heads out or anchors off a cove.
How early should I book?
The outdoor season on the Costa Brava runs from May to October, with July and August the busiest months. For those weeks it pays to ask early; how early depends on the day and the kind of event. Outside the season there are usually free dates.
Can I ask for specific tracks?
Yes. Before the event we put together two lists: the tracks you must hear and the ones you do not want. On the night I work in requests that fit the moment, without cutting the mix.
Do you also play small events?
Yes, from a dinner for 15 on a terrace to a gala with several hundred guests. With small groups the level is what matters: people can talk and the music still carries the evening.
Which languages are the announcements in?
Spanish, English and German. In Lloret de Mar it is normal for one party to bring together guests from several countries, so an announcement can go out in two or three languages. Always short and only when needed; private parties usually get by with very few.
Do you issue invoices to companies?
Yes, both companies and private clients, with whatever details your accounts need. Also when the booking comes through an agency or an event planner.
How many hours does a set last?
2 to 8 hours including breaks, whether at a beach club, on a yacht, at a villa or at a gala. The length and any extra hours are fixed before the event.
Where can I hear how you sound?
In the releases linked on this page and on Spotify, Apple Music and Beatport. If you want something closer to your event, I will send you a recording from a similar format.
Do you also work outside Lloret de Mar?
Yes, along the whole Costa Brava: Blanes, La Montgoda, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Girona and the surrounding area. Outside Lloret de Mar, travel is shown in the quote.
Do you play at weddings in Lloret de Mar?
Yes, at VIP weddings with an open format: villas with a sea view, country masias inland and hotels on the coast. Cocktail hour, dinner and party each get their own preparation, and the key moments are settled beforehand with you and with whoever coordinates the day.
Do you do traditional weddings with games and a host?
No. I am a house DJ, not a wedding host: there are no games, no karaoke and none of the classic banquet repertoire. For that kind of wedding other colleagues do it much better.
